Mobile apps (that is, applications for smartphones such as iPhone, iPad, Android, Blackberry, Samsung, etc) are available in a wide variety of categories, and so there are many kinds of voiceovers for mobile apps: educational narrations, character voices for games, storytelling for children’s books, GPS voiceovers, instructions for using an app — the list goes on and on.
When making an app, usually many voiceover files are required. For example, an app that teaches the user how to speak a foreign language will include one file for each word, and perhaps another file for each word definition. Therefore, it is important to speak with the app developer before recording and ask them how they want the voiceover divided up.
The script should be in table format, where each row includes the file name in the first column and the voiceover script in the second column. I will split the voiceover into files accordingly.
Click on the icons below to visit the App Store and download some of the apps that I have voiced. For your convenience, free downloads are marked with an asterisk (*).
