The purpose of a commercial is to sell a product or service to a target audience. If the commercial is aired on TV, then voiceover may be required in addition to the visuals. If it is aired on the radio, then voiceover will definitely be required.
In order for your commercial to reach a global audience and help you acquire clients worldwide - or in order to acquire investors, for example when you want to market a new product via a website like Kickstarter or Indiegogo - the commercial needs to be in English. And this is where I come into the picture.
Commercial voiceovers may sell your product in a delicate way (soft sell), an aggressive way (hard sell) or something in the middle (medium sell). For example, classic car commericals on the radio are usually hard sell. In contrast, commercials for beauty products are usually soft and delicate - either soft sell or medium sell.
